I first saw this beautiful work ..i was teen. Bearly mature but was so much fascinated by the emotions that i swore myself a tour like that. Totally nonsense right? Shit no ! I mean it and someday it will happen for sure.
Fair to say but my teenage self never got the little details of the movie but as i grew up , i was introduced to the artistic story line, direction and subtle display of emotions via acting.
The movie is itself a journey of morals . The three childhood friends on their dream vacation...one free from daily bogus routine , other from his new fiance and the last to seek his biological father.
The differences in thier personalities makes me believe that friendship doesn't want the same thing between them. It longs for the emotional attachment which are acquired by the adventures they take them self to . Its a beautiful description of  how a person should be fearless of the worldy things. How a person should live life to its fullest without any burden ...enjoy themselves with the time they are alloted in this world.
The chance events are also the key points of the movie... how the depressed living life 'arjun founds laila' , 'they overcome their fear of dying in a freaking bull race' ,' imraan meets his love and father' , and how kabir got out of the forced relationship'. All these were so beautifully explained . The beautiful background narration of javed akhtar sahab's collection in his son's voice is soo mesmerising and gives a calming touch to the scenes. The pegasus in the way to seville , the beautiful people of buñol in the tomato fest , the adventures of costa brava and the final destination of pamplona. The fantasy of luxury in film is exaggerated but ..one cam totally achieve that much of money to have fun like this. Hardwork do pays off you can say that.
The healing of wounds, discovery of true love, forever friendship , brotherhood , toxic relationships, overcome of fears and the achievement of bliss in life ... thanks to this masterpiece.
The stargazing part of arjun amd laila stands a special place. The soothness of the indescribable moment under the dark sky ...filled with glittering stars, such a beauty isn't it.
'I hope i do that someday with my love. '
But until then.. whenever I am bored of life events and bullshit around me...this movie will be the best escape from it. It takes me to the journey untold.
Here's me watching this magical cinema for god knowa how many times but still it suprises me everytime!
