MEMORIES AS PHOENIX!
Ishaan was late for work. He was in so much hurry that he didn't even noticed that it was raining outside.
The breezy wind and smell of soil , even though it was a road but human senses can't afford modernization..they like it the old way. Ishaan was the kind of guy who would stand still in the rain and enjoy the surrealism.
But sadly he can't afford to be late and appear all baggy in the office. It was his fourth job after his relocation from pune.
Mumbai is a busy place as we all know from the movies..it carries a wild pace within it. You can't be late at anything. For your safety you need to be extra early. The new place was not that much in routine with ishaan. He was still blending in.
The thing about metro is that... you don't have time for anything. You can't say 'hello' to a stranger or a realtive.
The fuss in everyones eys make you avoid contact. But as i said..today was different . Ishaan saw radha on the metro waiting stool, his ex.
All the rushness and fury within him..faded in a spec. He was moving yet steady , he we was phasing out . Somehow he managed to look away . Radha noticed his presence and moved away like he meant nothing to him, ever.
The fact that ishaan was still there and the realisation that they both looked at eachother without their eyes and ignored with movements showed that once love , is now 'nothing' to them. Ishaan took the cab and radha took the metro. They just couldn't take a moment for eachother ... just to' wave or to 'say hi'. The reaction was made in seconds but the time was running irrespective of their pace...it was not moving. Still !
Ishaan went to work and was staring at the ceiling the whole time. Radha missed her stop was still on the metro.
The 'moving on' part was the best ..but the fear of 'what if i see him/her again' is the hard part.
*"Human brain classifies love as an chemical erorr".*
The error with good parts.
We being 'us' (hooman) enjoy the good parts and blame the whole fun ride as 'nothing' just because of the separation( the bad part).
The story of ishaan and radha was very normal ..they fell in love and couldn't keep up with there goals in life . So they separated on a mutual descion. On a good note!.
But guess what?
There's no good left in people after they are far away from eachother.
The love slowly turns into anguish/anger/blaming/rage/hate and gods knows what else!
In this temporary world..a span of ever& forever can't be promised but atleast we try to make it that way.
Atleast we try !
Ishaan and radha like many other couples around the globe..once sweared to be with eachother till the last breath. But they failed to do so.
Was it all lie then? Nobody knows...afterall love is a error and we cant justify an error. It just happens.
The love once vowed was not in them, ishaan and radha never wanted to see their faces again . But they did !
Midnight was their and 'mana ke hum yaar nahi' was playing from the playlist. The same playlist they made together.
The song is itself a lesson and realisation that how we still keep things of our loved ones (once) not just to remind yourself about them, you keep them because the memories are tooo good to be deleted from mind.
The person related from it may not love you anymore but the things still do. Once they are gone memories keep a part of them in you.
The song made them smile and they went to sleep.
The stress was over.
The hate faded in a flash .
Afteralll they ended it in a good note!
Life is too short to hold grudges and regrets. You just need to live every second without overthinking. The errors happen a lot but you need to embrace the good part from it!
