Through infinity and beyond

'Whatever can happen will happen'

So the kid asked me about stars, never knew where to start.
I looked up in amazement as I had not gazed at them for some months.
Idk how to explain the wideness of our reality.
where we are, why we are and why do we need to be. All of the strange questions bought me suffocation of thoughts.
the kid's smile was tender as dandelions, her eyes reflected young age. The same way she used to look directly into me. Hope and innocence, she used to seek.
I clenched my red scarf, as the ground seemed light. My fingers pointed towards a cluster, it's a swan she shouted and smiled.
The September stars called Cygnus were above us, they represented her beautiful eyes.
Both of our heads were in angels, tilted toward curiosity and life.
Stars represent immortality, so ironic! Unlike our life.
They say 'it takes time to live but there's no hold up with time. It's running from dusk through our life towards many more to come.

Kid asked many questions, too many to count and too many to answer.
She reminded me of what was she like and what she could have been.
I smiled in disbelief as life surprised me with grief.
Loss of loved ones is the same as standing in the middle of the ocean. So long, nothing brief.
I wish I could say that you'll get used to people dying or it is going to be ok. It won't and maybe that's not fine.
I wish I could tell you that the waves will stop somewhere but they won't. Your search for shore and support will collapse as the hopes will come and go like a tide.
Just like any stone is shaped through years of weathering, you'll carry scars of remembrance too. hopefully, they'll be your sweet memory, to remind us that love never withdrew.
Death is a sweet poison with no use, but rules are rules and that's just life.
Those who rose from the dirt shall lose, birth must end without any snooze.
As she was mumbling I questioned my life, not the decisions I made but the price of spice. It's not written anywhere in the silk pages of religion,
"Why do we exist?"
"why shall we return?" and
"Why does it have to be the way it is?"

Seemingly the course of life is just a part of our journey, they say it's heaven and hell after this; that's something I don't want to believe.
I thought that the time will be enough, but my imaginations are running short as I never saw her growing up. She could have been the greatest dancer alive, with endless careers and yet I never got to see her thrive.
Can't really complain. I just wish to have enough, Enough of time.
Well, they also say to not mourn them as they are watching us.
Within the stars, they reside and we can't afford to not smile.
Maybe if there's a maybe where life was a smooth sail.
I wish the waves to be small as I want to feel the love I never got.
Wishing won't help and maybe complaining won't make it right.
I vow to stand in Between where the tides rise.
It's not going to be easy but I've to live. Not for me, not for anyone else but for her as she can see me.
After every wave, I will pick myself up and smile.
Give it all to me dear life, I've got some mile.

*Touch here for a song!*
